Olga Sorkine-Hornung
Olga Sorkine-Hornung is a highly distinguished Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich, leading the Interactive Geometry Lab (IGL). Her research spans the theoretical foundations and practical algorithms for digital content creation, geometric modeling, and digital geometry processing. She has made foundational, industry-standard contributions to shape representation and editing, particularly surface parameterization and mesh deformation algorithms. She is an associated investigator with the NCCR Digital Fabrication and a Fellow of both the ACM and the Eurographics Association. Before arriving at ETH, she served as an Assistant Professor at NYU's Courant Institute. In 2017, she received the prestigious Rössler Prize for her work in digital geometry.
