Romana Rust is a computational architect, researcher, and software developer working as a senior researcher at Gramazio Kohler Research (ETH Zurich) while also co-founding and leading technology at vyzn AG. Her work in digital fabrication integrates design, materiality, acoustics, and robotics, with particular expertise in robotic additive joining, clay sculpting, and spatial wire cutting. She is also a core developer of the open-source COMPAS computational framework.
