About
Paul Nicholas is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Information Technology and Architecture (CITA) at the Royal Danish Academy. He also serves as the Head of the Computation in Architecture International Masters Program. His research investigates how architectural design can extend into making processes—and the behavior of built artifacts—through digital information flows, robotic fabrication, sensing, and machine learning. He explores the integration of new materials, such as composites and bio-materials, linking sensing and machine learning to extended sustainable architectural production.
