Norman Hack is an architect, researcher, and Full Professor for Digital Construction at the Institute of Structural Design (ITE) at Technische Universität Braunschweig, where he also leads the Digital Building Fabrication Laboratory (DBFL). He previously worked as a programming architect at Herzog & de Meuron. He completed his Ph.D. with Gramazio Kohler Research at ETH Zurich, focusing on 'Mesh Mould', a robotically fabricated structural stay-in-place formwork system that earned the Swiss Technology Award and the Concrete Innovation Award.
