About
Bruno Lévy is Senior Research Scientist at INRIA, specialising in geometry processing and numerical optimisation for large-scale mesh problems. He created Geogram — a comprehensive geometry library in C++ (680+ stars) — and has made foundational contributions to mesh parameterisation (LSCM: Least Squares Conformal Maps), Voronoi-based remeshing, and optimal transport on surfaces. He is particularly known for the mathematical rigour and computational efficiency of his implementations, which are widely used in academic and industrial contexts. His work on polyhedral partitioning and reconstruction is foundational for urban modelling applications.
