Rudi Stouffs is the Dean's Chair Associate Professor and Assistant Dean (Research) in the Department of Architecture at the National University of Singapore (NUS). He leads the Technologies Research Cluster and the Architectural and Urban Prototyping Lab. He previously held appointments at Carnegie Mellon University, ETH Zurich, and TU Delft. He is the President of CAADRIA and past President of eCAADe. His research focuses on shape recognition, artificial intelligence for design, building/city information modeling (BIM), and mapping BIM models into semantically enriched 3D CityGML representations.
